Spence Head is an Associate Planner at Babb Financial Group, supporting individuals, families, and business owners across retirement, tax planning, and financial strategy. He brings nearly a decade of experience across relationship management, client service, and financial planning, with a background in life insurance, annuities, and investment advisory that gives him a broad foundation for the work.

What sets Spence apart on the team is how he communicates. Financial planning involves a lot of moving parts, and Spence has a particular ability to make those parts feel manageable for the people he works with. He is direct, patient, and genuinely attentive to the people he works with. That quality comes through in how he explains things, how he follows up, and how he makes sure nothing falls through the cracks in the planning process.

His approach is shaped in part by his athletic background. Spence was a two-time All-American in cross country and track at Dalton State College, and he is still competing. He races nationally across running, track, and triathlon, and is currently working toward breaking the four-minute mile. The discipline and focus that competitive athletics requires are evident in how he shows up for work every day.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Spence was introduced to Flagstaff during a running camp in 2022 and relocated full-time shortly after. He is drawn to endurance sport in all its forms and on most days you will find him on the trails, roads, or ski routes around Flagstaff. When he goes back home, he heads straight to the Columbia River to fish and swim. He roots for the Atlanta Braves.
